Conference Dinner Friday 15th July, 2016
This follows an exclusive and private viewing of the Book of Kells, a 9th-century gospel manuscript famous throughout the world, and which is on display with other manuscripts, in the Old Library.
The main chamber of the Old Library is the Long Room. At nearly 65 metres in length, it is filled with 200,000 of the Library’s oldest books and is one of the most impressive libraries in the world. It is here you will enjoy a pre-dinner reception.
A short walk across the cobbled stones from the Old Library leads to the impressive entrance to the Dining Hall where the conference dinner will take place.
Entertainment following dinner will be provided by the magnificent Deirdre Seaver, one of Ireland’s leading vocalists and harpists.
Tickets for the evening are €90.00 and can be reserved when you register for the conference.
