About Den Haag

Den Haag has a deserving reputation of prestige, stature and influence. The city is home to the Dutch Royal Family, the Parliament, Nobel-prize winning organisations, and numerous international companies. It is the second largest UN city.

With its historical city centre, beautiful harbour, vibrant & quiet beaches and unique seaside marina, Den Haag combines the essence of Dutch authenticity with modern facilities.

Just 15 minutes from the city centre lies Scheveningen  – a  part of Den Haag and the most popular seaside town in Holland. With its long beaches, Scheveningen is a wonderful place for both young and old in any season. It is here the beautiful Kurhaus Hotel is located – the venue for our meeting in 2019.

Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is one of the largest hubs in Europe with direct flights to over 320 European and intercontinental destinations every day, making it a truly global meeting point. On arrival, a train from the  airport station will bring you directly to Den Haag in under 30 minutes or travel by road is only 35 minutes.

From Den Haag Central station, (Den Haag CS), a tram goes directly to the Kurhaus Hotel  and will take approx. 15 minutes.
